Despite the bump in the road, the Comets have not lost hope and are taking each game one at a time. On Wednesday the comets will look to regain their hopes of becoming a top contender team. The comets will look to steal a win at Northern Highlands. With 2 players still out the comets will look to motivate each other and come together as a team and come up big. Peter Bonilla stated "We started weak and we all know we are not playing to our potential. We stepped up against Ridgewood and we need to play like that every time on the pitch." When asked what had happened against Paramus Bonilla responded "Last game we lacked motivation but I feel as the season continues we will all come together and surprise everyone by having a great season". The Comets have chemistry playing with each other since they were younger and only want to prove that they deserve a spot in the counties. Striker Shayan Sharoudi has 2 goals under his belt and is hungry to make a name for himself. "Well we definitely have to come up big and very physical against Norther Highlands after the miserable lost against Paramus. We need to move the ball on the ground since they are really dominant in the air based on what I have seen from them for the past 2 years" stated Sharoudi. Don't miss the Comets take on Northern Highlands tomorrow at 4pm at Northern Highlands. I will be their for this one so if you can't catch the game follow me on twitter @ayochelo for live updates. Until then goodnight and lets go comets!
